Lessig for Congress?

Larry Lessig, the Creative Commons guy and champion of open society, is considering running for the recently vacated seat in California’s 12th Congressional on a “Change Congress” platform. Please take a look at his Lessig 08 site, and send him your support if you find this possibility as exciting as I do. Especially those of you from the South Peninsula.

    I like this in theory. But I hate the video on his website. It’s really patronizing and also ugly.

    Specifically, his statement that the Democratic movement to change Washington is just at the Presidential level, is either disingenuous or suggests he isn’t paying much attention to congressional politics.
